To ensure that construction project stay on schedule, concrete must reach its destination quickly and be processed in good time. Due to space limitations, poor access routes, or machines and materials blocking the way, one of the main requirements for construction site vehicles is that they are easy to manoeuvre.
Apart from a compact design with short wheelbases and slim driver’s cabs, our models have additional functions on board which make them even easier to manoeuvre. The DM, RM gearshift program of our automated MAN TipMatic® gearbox offers the highest level of precision when manoeuvring. A unique feature in this vehicle class is the MAN turning brake. It brakes the rear wheels on the inside of the bend and thus reduces the bend radius.

The even upper frame edge, the high exhaust tailpipe of the MAN chassis and our truck mixer parametrisation available ex works makes it possible to quickly and simply build up the body of your truck mixer.
Fresh concrete should be processed within 90 minutes. To avoid it separating on the way to the construction site, the drum of the concrete mixer must constantly stay in motion. This means that the mixing hydraulic system needs a strong drive.
Powerful PTOs are available for all our concrete mixers. Fed by powerful common-rail engines with EDC management, they guarantee reliable speed consistency for mixing operations.
