The 12-metre bus sets new comfort standards with its low entry at doors 1 and 2. At the same time, it also meets customer requests for a greater number of seats in the direction of travel and a pleasant, raised seat position. The attractive cost-effectiveness of the Lion's City LE is ensured through the installation of numerous proven components from the MAN Lion's City family. Furthermore, the bus excels through its low life cycle costs: Depending on the model, more room in the engine compartment is available to the easily accessible drive unit in the rear. This makes the MAN Lion's City LE extremely maintenance and repair friendly.
Convenient boarding and alighting
Boarding and alighting the Lion's City LE city bus is exceptionally convenient with an entrance height of 320 mm. The kneeling function featured as standard allows the side of the bus to be lowered by a further 80 mm. Persons with restricted mobility and parents with prams can board the bus problem-free by using the folding ramp integrated at the second door as standard.
The interior: functional and comfortable
The ambience in the interior of the Lion's City LE city bus is uncluttered, friendly and easy-care. The seat cushions are covered with woollen plush material upholstery and the seat backs are made of easy-to-clean plastic. Additionally, each seat has an integrated hand grip and can be supplied on request with a side armrest.
